Marilyn Dauenhauer died March 13, 2008, at age 71. Marilyn Prickett was born Dec. 14, 1936, in Portland, and raised in Banks. She graduated from Banks High School and the University of Oregon and was a substitute English and history teacher in Long Beach, Calif., and then for Portland Public Schools after returning to Portland in about 1965. She moved to Forest Grove in 2003.
