2-time Most Wanted man, 92
BOSTON -- The oldest prison inmate in Massachusetts, a career criminal who was the first person to make the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list twice, has died at 92.

Author Sterling brought history of African Americans to children
Dorothy Sterling, whose more than 35 books for children and adults included some of the first nonfiction works about African American history for young readers, notably "Freedom Train," about Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad, died Dec. 1 at her home in Wellfleet, Mass. She was 95.

Eileen Bennett
Eileen Bennett died Nov. 28, 2008, of heart disease at age 76.

Emmy-nominee Finnegan produced 'Five-0'
LOS ANGELES -- William R. Finnegan, a film and television producer whose credits include "Hawaii Five-0," "The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd" and "The Fabulous Baker Boys," has died. He was 80.

Pastor whose sermon sparked 'under God' in pledge dies
WASHINGTON -- The Rev. George M. Docherty, the former pastor who delivered an influential sermon that led to putting "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance in 1954, died Nov. 27 of a heart ailment at his home in Alexandria, Pa. He was 97.

'Profound amnesia' patient changed science
