Chinese Gymnast May Be Stripped Of Her Olympic Bronze! Top
The International Gymnastics Federation is calling China's gymnastics team out on some decade-old bullshiz! Although they were originally cleared, the officials are demanding China give back the Olympic bronze medal the country won in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney because one of their gymnasts was 14 years old! 14-year-old Yang Yun won a bronze metal for uneven bars in the 2000 games, but at the time there was "insufficient evidence" to prove the Chinese lied about her age. A spokesperson for the International Olympic Committee has said they have received the findings from the FIG and will investigate the situation further before any action is taken. "Clearly, we need to take time to consider the findings before the executive board can consider the matter," said the rep. "We would like to thank the FIG for their work and we would refer further inquiries to them." And that poor girl probably thought she was in the clear! [ Image via WENN .]

Canada's Women's Hockey Team Are NOT Under Investigation, But They're Still Sorry! Top
Although the girls of Canada's gold-medal-winning women's hockey team turned heads with their hard-pAArtying on the ice after winning the gold, a spokesman for the International Olympic Committee says there will not be an investigation of the celebration! Thank God! The Canucks deserved a celebrAAtion! "To be honest I think people are in search of a story that doesn't exist," says the rep. "There were pictures all over the front pages and so on this morning, and I think people are looking for someone to say it's terrible." But it's not! The team is planning to offer a written apology to the Olympic Committee, and the team members seem to be honestly sorry for their actions. "I'm really sorry for what happened," said team member Marie-Philip Poulin . "I think we just wanted to enjoy the moment and that's just what happened. And it won't happen again. We've learned from that. We're just going to enjoy that medal right now." Cheers, ladies! [ Image via AP Images .]

Casting For The Russian Jersey Shore! Top
Now that Jersey Shore is one of the most talked about shows on TV, producer Elina Miller is capitalizing on the stereotypes of privileged ethnic communities in a knock off show based on the Russian-Americans in NYC's Brighton Beach community. The casting notice says: "Are you the Russian Snooki or The Situation? Are you a super outgoing and fun-loving Russian-American that sometimes sneaks kalbaska, pel'meni and vodka from the fridge? Can people hear the Euro/Techno/Russian music blasting from your car before they see you pull up? … The cameras will roll as you do what you do best—eat, drink and PARTY. Here's who we're looking for: Outgoing guys and girls between the ages of 21 and 30 who would be willing to spend one summer living in an all-expense paid digs in the New York City area and consider themselves to be Russian-American (or from the former U.S.S.R, including the Caucasus). We're searching for people throughout the entire U.S. including: NYC, Miami, Cleveland, Chicago, L.A., San Francisco and beyond. You must love attention and be the opposite of camera-shy….." Brighton Beach, which is known as Little Odessa, has one of the largest Russian communities next to Moscow. Yet, the producer claims she has no intention of accentuating stereotypes. "While some of the stereotypes may have merit, I'm trying to show that [the community is] a lot more complex," said Miller. "One thing that's common across all cultures is the desire young people have to have fun, to unleash." No one can compare to the glory of Snooki! Sounds like a big mistake! [ Image via WENN .]
