| The UK General Election is full of opinion polls and I am getting tired of being asked who I am going to vote for and responding with my right to a private vote. I have tried searching for the law which gives me the right to a private vote but to no avail. Does anybody know which law gives me the right to a private ballot and when it was passed please? I believe that US citizens do not have this right and the party they are registered for is public domain, hence when interviewed on the news you see "Joe Blogs, Republican" or "Jane Doe, Democrat". | |

| East European immigration has given me a money-making idea. I would run 'Great Escape' theme weekends. Players would be told 'You have escaped from a POW camp and made your way to a Baltic port, where you hope to get a boat to neutral Sweden. The population is either hostile or scared of the political police. Hardly anyone speaks English. Your mission is to find a friendly contact and escape capture for 24 hours.' Then I'd dress them in old civilian clothes and drop them outside Lidl in Boston, Lincolnshire. What do you think? | |

| Personally, I prefer a politician who expresses his thoughts and opinions, to one who hides behind a curtain of platitudes, inaccuracies and downright lies. Just as I thought. Nobody seems to know. I'm pretty sure she did not say, 'Prime Minster, could you please explain the Labour party's policy on open door immigration?' Oops. I'm an ex-pat and left England long ago in the early 70s. | I had to ask this as another person asked "what kind of person supports the AZ immigration law?" This is not to belittle their question, but I am now curious as to why we should support AZ. I, obviously, have my own beliefs and opinions - stated below. What is your opinion? Are you for American citizens being kidnapped and murdered? Do you devalue American citizenship so much that you blindly give it away for votes? To be an American citizen is something to be valued and treasured; you don't just give it away to anyone passing through. To be an American citizen means you assimilate and join our society, you learn our language, you participate in elections and you love our country. If you simply give this citizenship away, you end up with a lot of people who simply don't care and take whatever they can get; thereby destroying the American way of life. Does anyone have anything else to add? Do you think I'm wrong? Do you think I'm right? I want to know what you believe and think. @ Thomas Sankara of Burkina Faso: no, actually I'm a legal resident of CA - born and raised. @king james: The gov of AZ said, in an interview with Greta that they will not perform racial profiling. So I don't think this plays into it. | The opinion polls in the Tory supporting (and Rupert Murdoch owned) "Sun" newspaper in the UK consistently suggest the Tories are more popular than do other opinion polls. After every party leaders' TV debate, one of the first polls produced is The Sun's which invariably gives the TV pundits employed by the Murdoch owned press evidence to support their view that Cameron won the debate. Other opinion polls that appear later tend to show the Tories' lead in the opinion polls is less certain or doesn't exist at all. | |

| I keep hearing people tell me that the UKIP or BnP or any other small party polices actually make sense prior to that what they talk about today is what we want addressing by the main 3 parties that simple refuse to answer questions about the EU in full and immigration.. yet these parties are the '' popular one's'' but their polices arent great i mean this is pretty true what I'm about to show you i copied it from Genikid question because i couldn't be bothered to write my own. The last conservative party had Britain literally on it's knees, with many jobs shipped abroad and high stealth taxes. It's already leaked out in the mirror, that the Tories plan to hike VAT. Various media outlets have leaked secret documents of the conservatives plans to cut 100,000 of public sector jobs, along with slashing the NHS, and reducing benefit payments If the Tories win the election due to Labour's certain defeat, would Britain as we know it be destroyed under the Tory government? Now why do we have parties like that which clearly will bring BROKEN Britain. And a labour government that likes the words = uncontrolled immigration and mass sponging benefits. And a liberal democrat party that likes THE EU ? So my question really is to sum it up.. why are these 3 main parties who clearly will destroy Britain and they have done since 1980's yet there popular ? why arent the smaller parties with polices that '' make sense '' popular ? Would that make her a bigot? What does it take nowadays before you're labelled a bigot in the UK? How much prejudice do you really have to display ?? As it's now acceptable in the media to have a go at East Europeans the bar has been raised. That's acceptable now is it?
