| And a lot of $$$ at that! TV insiders have suggested to sources that serial killer murder suspect Joran van der Sloot refuses to give any inteviews unless he's paid and paid very well. How well? His current asking price is $1 million! If you didn't already think he was a douche bag than here's the cherry on top! Insiders say that all the media attention Joran is getting is exactly what he's after and he knows that an epic televised interview is exactly what the world wants to see. One source suggests: "It's a horrid thing to admit, but he could be right. An interview with him from behind bars would certainly get huge ratings. And when you think how much money the cast of 'Friends' got per half-hour episode, $1 million for van der Sloot could be considered a bargain." Ugh! | As if the Kardashian clan needed anymore exposure, Kim Kardashian will now have her own wax figure created. Kim confirmed the news on her blog today that she'll soon have her wax figure appear at the Madame Tussauds museum in New York. Says Kimmy: "I can finally reveal that I am getting my own wax figure at Madame Tussauds in NYC!!!! This is one of the greatest honors ever and I am so thrilled and excited. Now I will never have to leave NYC… I've officially gone bi-coastal! LOL We're guessing Khloe and Kourtney are so jealous excited for their sister. Congrats 'bb! | |

These are the benefits of being vampires on HBO, but take that away and all you have is Twilight minus the sparkling. And that's exactly what's about to happen when the show moves to basic cable ! Sources are confimring that HBO is shopping the show around to cable providers to rebroadcast reruns just like the Sopranos and Sex & The City did. Yeah, didn't work for them! Not gonna work for Vampire Bill! There haven't been any takers yet, but that won't be a problem. The show is the highest rated in HBO history. TBS is sure to want that on it's lineup! | Zack De La Rocha of Rage Against the Machine is planning a series of concerts called the Sound Strike campaign to protest Arizona's state immigration laws. He explains: "In the coming weeks we are going to be organizing a series of concerts that are respectful of the nature of the boycott in its attempts to isolate the Arizona government but not isolate the people, and especially the organizations that are fighting this on the ground." "Many of us have begun to plan concerts that include bands that have signed on the Sound Strike, and make tickets available so that people within Arizona can come and see these concerts as they roll out." The script for the latest adaptation is written by Aline Brosh McKenna , the woman who treated us to The Devil Wears Prada and subjected us to 27 Dresses , so it's hard to anticipate what the final product will be!
