| Should Workinglinks personnel undermine rehabilitation processes? I have had a man telling me that I'm a lowlife- insinuating I am worthless just because I was given a 12mth probation order. He clearly bathes in the fact that I've been prosecuted for having a bladed article which in fact was a 2.5 inch lock knife bought with the intention of using to protect the public from any danger my consignment might give them- i.e. I delivered gas bottles, explosives and a host of other dangerous goods- I really didn't need a blade folding back on my fingers when I needed it not to. The knife was never produced in a public place until I had to surrender it to the desk sergeant at my local police station- where I was arrested for having a knife that locked. I was given 12mths probation (harshly dealt with throughout). Working links run a scheme callsed 'OLAS' which helps those that have suffered probation to become part of society again- they can help finance various things and have already funded my Hazardous goods licence again and sent me on a two day first aid course- I'm grateful to an extent but completely resent them lording it over me and telling me I'm worthless. The police can ask BT to give them recordings of phone conversations that happened on the 19/07/2020 between myself and working links nottingham but why should they try and help a worthless piece of **** like me? I think the answer is that should anyone create resentment in another- they will be making a problem- if people are to be rehabilitated they should be on equal terms and not discriminated against. HELLO ANDY at Queens rd. Do you think that whilst NACRO did an excellent job in this sphere- that working links have the ability to perform the same duties? When the manageress working with probation for 12yrs uses lies to get her personnel off the hook (temporarily I hope) - this shows how corrupt they are willing to be. I ask of you- do I have the right to become a normal working man again that puts £200 a week into the taxmans coffers and refuses to break the law at every opportunity? I was such a man until November 2008. I now have H&S level 2 under my belt, am nearing the end of my first year on a foundation degree in criminal justice and have done other courses and diploma's but it seems I'm just a worthless peice of **** and need to rethink my allegiances - ACCORDING TO ANDY! What do you make of all this and do you think that my indescretion of being in posession of a knife (that never saw the light of day for 6yrs) will ever be over? Do you think NACRO ought to get the contracts back and working links ought to be disciplined for their obvious discriminatory ways? WHY????? | |

| a collegue of mine was escorted to her car to get her phone so the supervisor could check through her mesages. she was being put through disciplinary process for breach of confidentiality regarding her friend, another employee! . however, i thought this was illegal and a complete invasion of her privacy. what rights does she have? | |

| He failed to get into the regular army about two years ago, after being withdrawn on medical grounds, based on a ADHD diagnosis, well, not exactly, more based on a damning comment from a social worker that he had spoken to her about his gang type involvement at that time, fighting etc. This was written into his medical file and his new doctor submitted it to the Army Medical Officer recruiting. Albeit we complained and the doctor agreed it was not appropriate and he`d acknowleged my sons dissapointment based on a teenage self boasting comment to a social worker. My son did struggle with social pressures in his early teens and mixed with undesirable lots BUT, he turned this about! He was never involved in any crime, and doesn`t have a criminal record. How many young teenagers don`t misbehave at some stage? But he completed a years college training City & Guild in car maintenance. Put a suit on. Took it to his placement garage one day and asked for a job! He was 17. The boss took him on and he works there still and is a very able time served vehicle maintenance assistant. He recently, again off his own back, went to see his doctor complaining about his diagnosis. The doctor has supported his complaint and is writing a letter to support my sons recent recruitment attempt in joining the Territorial Army. I know what`s happening here. I know what his drive is and where he wants to end up. He wants to join the Regular Army and sees this as a stepping stone maybe. He is one of lifes good guys. He is lovely lad. Hard working and would help anybody. He is also a natural soldier in the making...I can say this as a former soldier. He`s just got what it takes i believe that fully. I do wonder though, does the Territorial Army get deployed to Afghanistan etc? Would he serve there in the T.A.? I`m naturally worried and know the risks. His cousin was killed in Afghanistan a few months ago. The T.A. question is important. Will he get posted there? I`d support his application despite my worries and opinion. I have the greatest respect for TA service personnel in all theatres of operations abroad. I just think, i`d prefer him to have a regular training exposure and be fully trained to do the job. I trust TA members would have to meet some criteria before being posted abroad, but in ignorance, i`m minded that though i would prefer him to stay civi, if he does join up in a fashion that sees him posted to Afghanistan. I`d rather him be a regular and more prepared. Ironic I know! I`m struggling with it every way! | |

| i was doing the uk national speed limit of 60mph...anyway when i got to the house i realized i left my house keys at work, so i headed back to work again but on the way back the police pulled me over and issued me with an ASBO and said there was no appealing it. Is there anything i can do? i honestly thought the guy was taking the piss when he told me but im afraid he wasnt. i had a quick google search and yes you can get an asbo for driving | |

| I have decided to join the royle navy and I am just waiting on my pre joining fitness test now because I have passed my other tests. I was just woundering how long will it take to get my date to go and do it because I have been waiting now for about 2 months. | Alliance and Leicesters website was unable to answer why my cash disappeared into thin air for five days so I called their "Help" line to speak to "Customers Services" and was kept waiting for 32 minutes whilst they took my money on a premium rate number! On being connected I was told it was due to them being busy all week. Is this kind of "Customer Service" and "Help" acceptable in the 21st century? Is it deliberate in order to rack up the premium rate profits? Alliance & Leicester/Santander recently came last in a report on customer service, are they all the same? | |

| (I'm not villa, I'm borrowing this account bc I don't have one.) I'm packed. Ready to leave. Just a few tinsy problems: 1. I've already tried to leave. I can't legally do so without a passport, which the govt takes their time in issuing. (but only to those with a hundred bucks to burn) They demand documents I don't have because my violent father never gave them to me. I can't get a lawyer to help me get them from him, and the police also refuse to take action. 2. Money. I'm legally disabled because a war vet (who was not treated for his mental problems) attacked me. The govt told me I'm screwed because I'm very young, and so not entitled to any benefits to survive off of until I recover. (which may be never) Never mind the taxes I've been paying since I was 14. They only count about a year of my work as countable taxes. I'm now destitute. 3. I can't walk past the boarder to mexico. It used to be no big deal, but now I can get shot for that. I'd much rather go to canada, but they want a passport too. 4. I have a daughter. (apparently life starts at rape, for those who are denyed the right to abortion even where it's legal.) The police refused to take action against the B*****d, so I have to find him and get his permission to take my daughter with me, anywhere I want to go. I have no right to travel, and thanks to loser police, I have no evidance to prove that I was attacked... Except for the baby, that is. The bruises and cuts were apparently not considered evidance. So you see I'm really trying hard to take your advice fellow Americans, to get the **** out of this rat hole of a country, but I need to know how to make that a realistic possibility. As it looks right now, that advice is just unrealistic BS. Is there an organisation that helps Anti american americans get the **** out? I volunteer!
