LOS ANGELES -- Rosalie Ritz, a premier courtroom artist who for four decades chronicled dozens of high-drama trials, including those of Charles Manson, Patty Hearst and O.J. Simpson, has died. She was 84.

Groebli's 'Frick' helped create folly on ice
Werner Groebli, half of the comic ice-skating duo "Frick and Frack" adored by millions in the 1940s and 1950s, and who continued to entertain audiences as a solo artist for decades, died April 14 at a hospital in Zurich. He was 92.

Robert Warnes Leach, a screenwriter who became a leading advocate for victims' rights after his stepdaughter was murdered in 1983 in Malibu, Calif., has died. He was 93.

Speed Vogel, Joseph Heller's pal, co-author
Speed Vogel, who turned his friendship with novelist Joseph Heller into a best-selling memoir, "No Laughing Matter," died April 14 of natural causes at his home in Sag Harbor, N.Y. He was 90.

Stacey Ann Picard-Leonetti
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2008, in West Union Elementary School for Stacey Ann Picard-Leonetti, who died April 18 of a brain tumor at age 50.

Theresa Lyons
A Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2008, in St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Portland for Theresa "Teddy" Lyons, who died April 11 of Alzheimer's disease at age 75.

Times Square developer's vision was years too early
Alex M. Parker, a real estate developer whose vision of Times Square as the province of "nice people" was prescient but about two decades too early, died March 13 in the Bronx. He was 87.
