Florence K. Brosvick died Jan. 3, 2009, at age 95. Florence K. Orlebeke was born Aug. 31, 1913, in Clara City, Minn. She graduated from the University of Minnesota and taught high school zoology before moving to Seattle, where she and her husband owned a small business. She moved to Vancouver in 1994. In 1940, she married William F.H. Brosvick; he died in 1995.
