First an actress, then a Rockefeller, then a divorcee
Barbara Sears Rockefeller, a Pennsylvania coal miner's daughter who married one of the richest men in America and, after their divorce six years later, won a settlement regarded as a record in its day, died May 19 at her home in Little Rock, Ark. She was 91 and had lived in Arkansas for the past few years.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2008, in Lake Grove Presbyterian Church for Frances Fulton, who died May 22 of cancer at age 90.

Huntington Hartford, who inherited a fortune from the A&P grocery business and lost most of it chasing his dreams as an entrepreneur, arts patron and man of leisure, died Monday at his home in Lyford Cay in the Bahamas. He was 97.

TOPEKA, Kan. -- The last surviving plaintiff in Topeka's Brown v. Board of Education case, which led to the historic 1954 Supreme Court ruling outlawing segregation in public schools, has died at 88.
