| I am developing a game based in the world of Harry Potter. I will be using the Half-Blood Prince game as a reference while I recreate Hogwarts and the Burrow. Mostly, this is for my own enjoyment. However, can I release the game for free on my website (making no profit whatsoever), or would I need to seek permission from J.K. Rowling, EA Games, or Warner Bros.? I might also point out that many people have released free 3D models of Hogwarts (replicas from the films and games) on Google's 3D Warehouse. Does releasing this game (for free) run in the same vein? Any help or guidance is appreciated. By the way, I'm in Devon, UK. | |

| Yet a poor person with cancer is far more likely to die than a rich person because the poor person will not receive the same treatment. Are the chances of somebody surviving a serious illness directly proportional to the size of their wallet? 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal'. Is this not a paradoxical statement? | |

| it should have been legalised by now!! Import tax alone could have stopped the recession and more of the drugs council are quitting because the government are banning every drug regardless of its effect! Most people are saying it is a gateway drug and people can get lung cancer!! | Ok, firstly my knowledge on the policies and rationale of the main Uk political parties is, embarrasingly, non-existent. I was abroad on the last general election, had just turned 18 didn't really care, so didn't vote. This time round i want to make an informed decision of who deserves my +1, does anyone know a reliable and accurate site, or source, that can outline the main policies of each of the parties in the running. I have strong personal views towards certain policies and would like to find which of the parties would suit me best. Thanks for taking the time to read this. | |

| I know the question has been asked before but i was watching the news the other week about the EDL march in Bolton and the clashes seem to be happening more and more between the EDL/BNP and the UAF, i also noticied the UAF use the red flags of socialism and one of them had a banner saying 'allah is the greatest' another one i saw had a shirt with the soviet union flag (communist) on it, it kind of reminds me of pre-nazi germany were you had nationalists on one side and communists on the other side. | |

| Wasn't Jesus a socialist? Didn't he tell people to give their neighbour the shirt off their back? Didn't he tell people to love their neighbour as themselves? These people call themselves Christians yet they despise President Obama for trying to fix the inequities in the US healthcare system where poor people are denied a basic human right to access proper healthcare. | |

| There are so many "little" people being highly paid, very wealthy, but have no real worth at all, The other and more eroneous side of the coin, is when council workers dictate the wellbeing of the public from their judgemental and cradled postion and exert their "little" power to devestaing effect. Shame on them and they should repent on being so shallow. | |

| It is happening now, just look at the lenses looking at you in normal life without being involved in criminal activity. And yet,. you could be harrased at home and the cameras would not record the affray in the absence of "real" not pretend uniformed subserveint pretendalikes that we have accepted to walk and protect our streets. Let's be real, they are "Revenue Officers" that have nothing at all to do with public safety or law enforcement.. ...to our benefit at least | |

| Hi I have a good level of fitness, my vision is perfect overall (when I have both eyes open) but I have a slightly lazy right eye, I can see with it but it is not perfect Will this stop me from entering the paras? Also I have a skydiving A licence is that any help? My fathe was in royal corps of transport (logistics) he used to shoot left handedbecause he had same problem. | |

| I have been charged with gross misconduct for a false allegation but I have not been suspended. So should I carry on going to work as normal or should I avoid going in to work? What is the best advice plz. Thanks | |

| much advice needed everyone. i have been offered a job in canada and for the past 3 weeks been waiting to receive my ACPO police certificate. The certificate came through on friday with a caution for battery on it from 29/12/08. This in itself is a stubling block, however not the biggest. I was out with a group of friends thursday after work for a beer and got invloved in a fight outside the pub. A chap came at me from nowhere so i jabbed him on the chin and knocked him out cold. everyone scattered and i panicked and jumped in my car to leave. i drove about 15 yards across the car park and stopped as i felt i better help the chap. So i got out my car and put him in the recovery position until he came round. When he came round the police arrived and arrested me as the staff saw me hit him. on my way to the police station i realised i had a work knife in my pocket so i told the policeman and he duely took it from me but said i'd done the right thing by telling him. Anyway, when i got to the station i blew a breath specimen and the machine faulted so i had to give a blood sample. I spent the night in the cell and was interviewed in the morning. Turns out the guy isn't pressing charges but i am being done for affray, they saw me move my car 15m on the cctv and have done me for drink driving pending on my blood samlpe (3-4 weeks). I am also probably going to be done for an offensive weapon but the police said that due to all the factors a decision would be made at a later date when all the evidence is assessed and the blood sample sent back. I am on bail until may 14th. Now, my predicament is that i need my visa for canada, i have sent all the paperwork to the company and asked them if they could speed up the process incase i can sneak a visa before anything gets added to my record from the police. My question to you all is (a) do you think i'll get a visa if i go over in the next couple of weeks and (b) will these recent offences be on any sort of viewable database yet bearing in mind i'm going back to the station on the 14th of may ? Any info you can add will me much much appreciated as i've been looking forward to emmigrating for months now. Cheers, predicament-boy. | |
